    The Alpine Escape is a 6 day trip that will test your legs and allow you to experience the beauty of the Alps.

  • Over 600km & 16,000m

    A true test of the legs, body and mind. The Alpine Escape is designed to push the body to its extreme, testing youself over the toughest terrain, but in a social style.

  • Fully Supported

    Ride with the Band of Climbers team on the road, and enjoy van support at all times. No need to carry any kit, we'll carry it for you. Just enjoy the ride.

Custom Routes

Select your Escape destination, and tell us how far or how high you want to ride, and we'll do the rest. We can create routes for absolute beginners through to serious mountain goats, with levels of difficulty to challenge and excite all levels of rider.

Custom Dates

If our scheduled Escapes don't work for you, then a custom Escape is only an email away. Tell us where and when you want to ride, and we'll create an itinerary for you and your group to meet your needs.

Optional Support

Choose what level of support you'd like on your Escape. From fully self supported, through to full van support, mechanical cover, ride guides, and more. You choose the level of support you'd like.

Alpine Recovery

Stay in our Alpine guesthouse near Bourg St. Maurice. Our hosts Kerry and Serge prepare daily continental breakfasts to fuel each big day of riding. At dinner, you'll enjoy 3 course dinners made with locally sourced fine ingredients. Wine, beer and soft drinks are all included. Relax in the outdoor hot tub or recover in the infra-red sauna.
