BoC Escapes
BoC Escapes is the travel and events division from Band of Climbers. Since 2016 Band of Climbers has been inspiring others to ride the world's greatest climbs. In 2018 our first Escape was born, and we've never looked back. Our Escapes are deliberately small, exclusively limited to just a handful per year, and they give us a chance to ride with our customers, guests and friends from all over the world. We don't run these trips for profit, we run them for the love of the mountains and to make memories and lifetime friendships along the way.
2018 - The First Escape
Band of Climbers began offering weekend Escapes in the French Alps back in 2018. We ran three successful 4 day Escapes in June and September of 2018.
2019 - Demand Grew Fast
In 2019 our 6 day format was born. After riding with guests from Australia, the US and the Middle East, it was clear that longer Escapes were favoured by long haul travellers, so we switched to make our Escapes 6 days long.
2020 - The Dolomites
Despite Covid-19 playing havoc with the travel industry in 2020 we sucessfully ran our first Dolomites Escape in September of 2020. Opening the door for future Escapes in Italy's most stunning cycling location.
2021 - Instant Sell Out
In 2021, 2022 and 2023, all of our Escapes sold out in minutes. Demand blew us away. Guest feedback was incredible, and so for 2023 and 2024, we're continuing to add more destinations across Europe...
2022 - More Dates
In 2022 we added a 5th Escape to the schedule, making this the biggest year of Escapes to date. Every Escape was an instant sell out, with dates in the French Alps and Italian Dolomites.
2023 - 3 New Locations
2023 was a huge year for BoC Escapes. We introduced 3 new locations. The Pyrenees, Mallorca and the Stelvio. We added more dates, with 6 Escapes taking place across Europe from June to early October. Every Escape was an instant sell out.
2024 - Gravel, Tenerife & Custom Escapes
In 2024 we're bringing you the first ever Gravel Escape in the French Alps. Rough and wild, no-one does Gravel like the Alps. Plus, yet more new destinations with Tenerife coming in October, and, Custom Escapes. Let us create a completely unique Escape just for you.

Stuart Anderson
Band of Climbers' Founder. After turning to cycling back in 2010 to lose weight, Stuart found a love of climbing Europe's highest Cols, and lost more weight the more he climbed. He now aims to inspire others to follow his journey into the mountains.

John Brown
Band of Climbers Accountant and Ride Guide. John is a highly experienced rider and loves nothing more than a long winters ride in the rain and wind. A fan of all things Italian, John will usually be found brewing an espresso or tinkering with his vintage Fiat 500.
